When should I start testing my dog?
Cancer screening is encouraged for dogs of all ages and breeds as a proactive and preventative measure — especially as they get older. Just like in human medicine, we don’t screen because we expect a cancer diagnosis — we do it to stay one step ahead. Early detection gives you and your vet more treatment options, better outcomes, and more time. By making wellness screening part of your dog’s routine care, you’re giving them the best chance at a healthy, happy life.
